Our country is headed in the wrong direction. Two parties at war is not what Texans want. We want great schools, lower property taxes, term limits, great jobs, a secure border, and common sense reproductive rights. The only way we'll see these is if we end the partisan civil war, and that means an independent Texan needs the courage to run as an independent.
Mike Collier went to Georgetown High School where he was president of the marching band and was in the Texas All State Band.
He attended The University of Texas where he marched in the longhorn band and earned a degree in business. He later earned an MBA from UT-Austin and started his career as a financial auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Over the years Mike worked in the Austin, Dallas and Houston offices of PwC, becoming a partner where he served clients in the energy industry. He retired from PwC to become the chief financial officer of a Texas oil company which he helped grow through drilling and acquisitions. Today Mike is the owner of Texas Equity Partners, a firm committed to helping Texas companies create jobs and grow their businesses.
Mike married his college sweetheart and they have been happily married for thirty-six years. Together they have children, grandchildren and a very large extended family, including lots of beloved pets, living in the great state of Texas
